Marguerite 'Midge' Oravitz Fell

Midge has deep family ties in funeral service. Her late father, Stephen F. “Doc” Oravitz, was a prominent funeral director in Shenandoah for many years. Her mother, the late Matilda “Tillie” (Alex) Oravitz was a licensed cosmetologist and worked with her father in the funeral business. In addition, her grandparents, Stephen M. and Jennie A. Oravitz, were also licensed funeral directors.

Midge is a graduate of Bloomsburg College where she received a BS in Education. She did graduate work at Pennsylvania State University and received her M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling. She was a state certified teacher having worked with the gifted and remedial reading programs.

Following in her father’s footsteps, Midge graduated Summa Cum Laude from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, New York, NY. She earned the Mu Sigma Alpha Award, awarded on a national level to highest achieving students. She became licensed in 1977. Midge is serving as the supervisor of Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Inc.

Midge and her husband Bill are life-long residents of Shenandoah and have one daughter Cheryl wife of Tom Tourish and two grandchildren, Finn & James all of Wayne, PA.

Albert Breznik

Albert was born and raised in Ringtown and is a graduate of the North Schuylkill High School. He attended Penn State University and the former Simmons Institute of Funeral Service in Syracuse, NY. He was appointed a deputy coroner in Schuylkill County in 1991, serving until 2015. His affiliation with and eventual purchase of the former Edward W. Stauffer Funeral Home in Ringtown has been the home base of his lifelong funeral service career, spanning over thirty years, owning and operating the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home in Ringtown until its merger with the Tributes of Life Family of Funeral Homes in August of 2022.

Albert has served the Ringtown community over the years as a council member and Mayor of the borough. He is also a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Greek Ukrainian Catholic Church in Shenandoah, where he served as a former trustee and current financial counsel committee member. He belongs to several local civic and fraternal organizations. He and his wife, Brenda, a dental hygienist for Tri-Valley Dental in Hegins, reside in Ringtown.

Albert recently became affiliated with this location, and is looking forward to serving families in the Shenandoah area, along with continuing to serve those in the Ringtown Valley and Pottsville areas.
