Wanda (Beoris) Zackaravage, 92, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Shenandoah, July 13, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Przyblik) Beoris.

She was a 1942 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah. As a licensed cosmetologist, she owned and operated Wanda's Beauty Shop in Shenandoah until her retirement.

Wanda was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, formerly St. George Church, Shenandoah.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was a son, Stefan A. "Stef" Zackaravage, March 11, 2011.

Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Patricia Zackaravage, Shenandoah; granddaughter, Lindsey Zackaravage, Shenandoah; caregiver, Susan Aponick, Mahanoy City; cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Friday at Divine Mercy Church, Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
