Thomas P. Lombardo, 72, a resident of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21st, 2025, while a guest at the Schuylkill Center in Pottsville.
Tom was born in Philadelphia on April 11, 1952, a son of the late Frank and Margaret (McConville) Lombardo. Upon moving to the Shenandoah area in 1960, he attended the former JW Cooper High School, graduating in 1971. He was employed by the Borough of Shenandoah for over 30 years, retiring as the Borough Foreman. During his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and watching TV, especially the Philadelphia sports teams, of whom he was an avid fan. Tom was of the catholic faith.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Lisa Drumheller (Brian) of Shenandoah; his son, Mark Hysock, with whom he resided in Shenandoah; two sisters, Mary Engle (Joseph) of Girardville and Dolores Stahl (Jeffrey) of Philadelphia along with his twin brother, Joseph Lombardo (Missy) of Lost Creek. 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, nieces, nephews and his cat Salem also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Friday March 28th, 2025 at the Walukiewicz Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah. Visitation with Tom's family will be from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Private interment services will be held by Tom's family.
