Theresa A. Ushock, 95, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, May 5, 2025.

Theresa was born in Shenandoah, a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Perun) Kayes.  She spent many years working as a special elementary teacher in Shelton, Connecticut, until her retirement, moving back to Shenandoah area several years ago.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ushock, and by ten brothers, Edward, Walter, Joe, John, Frank, Tony, Leo, Bernard, Thomas and Stanley Kayes; and two sisters, Rosella Guida and Loretta Zaber.

She is survived by her sister, Pat, wife of Jules Stremba, Shenandoah, and by her best friend - a woman who everyone should have a friend like - Julia Legnos.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, North Center Street, Ringtown at 11 AM on Saturday, May 10th, 2025.  A visitation will be held at the Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the mass on Saturday morning.
