Stanley G. Sonny Kayesuski, age 65 of Shenandoah Heights passed away suddenly Wednesday evening at the Williamsport Regional Medical while on a fishing trip with his friends.

Born in Shenandoah on May 16, 1949 he was the son of the late Stanley J. and Veronica (Checovage) Kayesuski.

Sonny was a 1967 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Jeld-Wen, Ringtown.

He was a member of St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah.

Sonny was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

On September 6, 1980 in St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah he married the former Susan M. Chatcavage who survives.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 33 years are his mother-in-law, Helen Chatcavage, Shenandoah Heights; two brothers-in-law, John Chatcavage and his wife Beth Ann, Ashland and Edward Chatcavage and his wife Lisa of Longmont, Colorado; a nephew and godson, Derek Chatcavage; a niece, Colleen Chatcavage; additional nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.
