Shirley J. (Thomas) Wright, 71, of Freeland, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, November 7th, 2024.

Shirley was born on March 8, 1953 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Earl R. and Emily E. (Henninger) Thomas.  She was a 1970 graduate of the former JW Cooper High School, and was a long time resident of Shenandoah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Thomas and her sister, Ruth Heffner.

Shirley is survived by her children, June E. (Wright), wife of Salvadore Malocu of Mohton; Gerald L. Wright, Jr. of McAdoo; Matthew M. Wright and his wife Christina of Glendale, AZ; Robbin Reddinger of Winter Haven, FL; and Albert A. Wright, of Freeland, along with nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers, Roland C. Thomas and his wife Sonja of Palo Alto and Kenneth G. Thomas and his wife MaryAnne of Ashland, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
