Sharon Lee Steele, 58 of 1259 W. Penn St., Shenandoah passed away Monday at St. Catherines Medical Center, Fountain Springs, Butler Township.

Born in Shenandoah on June 15, 1953 she is the daughter of Dorothy Steele of Shenandoah.

She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

Sharon Lee was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving in addition to her mother with whom she resided are a sister, Ann Marie wife of John Gantz, Sr. of Shenandoah; two nephews, John Gantz, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Ringtown and Paul Gantz and his wife Lynn of Pine Grove; two nieces, Gloria Keck and her husband Karl of Orwigsburg and Brenda Polgrean of Lancaster.

Scripture and prayer services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 am at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Rev. Christopher Wollyung will officiate. Relatives and friends may call Monday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
