Ruth E. (Barlow) Roguskie, 89, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Saturday morning at Shenandoah Senior Living Community, Shenandoah.

Born in Shenandoah, Jan. 25, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Gibson) Barlow.

She was educated in Shenandoah public schools.

Ruth was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Brandonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex "Al" Roguskie, on Sept. 12, 2003; a son, Francis "Frank" Roguskie; two sisters; seven brothers.

She is survived by Janice and Sally Roguskie, Shenandoah Heights; four grandchildren, Melissa Troutman and her husband, Vincent, Frackville, Jennifer Nichols and her husband, Andrew, Pittsburgh, Scott Roguskie and his wife, Angela, Shenandoah Heights and Marion Moyer, Shenandoah Heights; seven great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Donna Roguskie Szuler, Shenandoah Heights; nieces and nephews.

Religious services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The Rev. Jay Serafin will officiate. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Relatives and friends may call from 9 until 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
