Rosemary H. (Zangari) Horey, 58, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening at her residence surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Ashland, Feb. 12, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Mary (Green) Zangari.

Rosemary was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends.

Surviving are four daughters, Heather Matukewicz and her fiance, Jim Herb, Minersville, Stacy Champion and her husband, Bruce, Camp Hill, Rachelle Babarsky and her companion, Dan Perfidio, Girardville, and Roxanne Babarsky, Shenandoah; one son, Ronald Babarsky, Shenandoah; eight grandchildren, Michael, Ryan and Justin Matukewicz, Kylie and Gianna Herb, Nolan and Rocco Champion and Isaac Perfidio; two brothers, Rocco Zangari, Girardville, and Ronald Zangari and his wife, Janet, Girardville; her companion, Michael Garvey, Shenandoah; nieces and nephews.

Prayer and scripture services will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The Rev. Mindy Heppe will officiate. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
