Rosemary C. (Ulceski) Jefferson passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2024 at her home in Shenandoah.
She was born on November 11, 1953 in Ashland to Rosemary Grady and Edward (Pooch) Ulceski.
Rosemary was a resident of Shenandoah and was a 1971 graduate of the former Cardinal Brennan High School, Fountain Springs, Ashland.
She married Joesph M. Jefferson on June 1st, 2014 in Shenandoah.
Rosemary was a retired seamstress and then was a home health aid where hardworking hands continued their endeavor by helping others, something she loved to do.
She was a member of Saint Michael's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Shenandoah where she volunteered making pierogies and helping with other parish fundraising events.
Rosemary was always high energy and was an incredibly hardworking person. She was very loving and caring and would never hesitate to help someone in need.
Her family, which certainly would include her dogs, and the Philadelphia Phillies were her biggest passions. She loved the outdoors, whether it was camping or planting flowers or doing yardwork.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents was her first husband John Hysock Sr.
In addition to her husband, Joseph M. Jefferson, Rosemary is survived by three sons, Johnny, Jason, and Timmy; six grandchildren, Noah, Nyah, Jocelyn, Kaylee, Alaina and Rowan; an older brother Edward Ulceski; a younger sister, Kathy Ulceski; and two nephews, Stephen and Michael.
Religious services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah with Father Paul Spotts officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 8:30 am until 10:00 am at the funeral home where family and friends can reminisce, and honor the life of Rosemary.
