Robert E. "Paulo" Paulukonis, 52, of Shenandoah, passed away Tuesday afternoon at his residence.

Born in Shenandoah, Oct. 11, 1963, he was a son of Florence L. Isgate Paulukonis, Shenandoah, and the late Jerome Paulukonis Sr.

He was a 1981 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School. Paulo was currently employed as an electrical foreman for Pleasant Valley Homes Inc., formerly Pine Grove Homes.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Paulo was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Krystal Marie Lombardo.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, the former Jody A. Onisick; two daughters, Desiree Dunleavy and her husband, William, Shenandoah Heights, and Sarah Frey and her husband, Anthony, Brookville; a brother, Jerome Paulukonis Jr. and his wife, Betty, Mahanoy City; two sisters, Lorraine Quintinsky and her husband, David, Barnesville, and Cathy Veach, Shenandoah; two grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A prayer and scripture service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The Rev. Jose Johnson will officiate. Relatives and friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
