Regina T. Nana Jean (Navitsky) Zulkowski, 84 of 237 Schuylkill Ave., Shenandoah Heights passed Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson St., Pottsville.

Born in Shenandoah on August 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Navitsky.

She was educated in the Shenandoah Catholic Schools.

Regina was a member of Annunciation BVM Church, Shenandoah.

She will be long remembered for her fine cooking skills in the countless meals she prepared, her love of shopping and her generous spirit evident in the gifts she always gave to family that visited her.

Preceding her in death in addition her parents were her husband, Joseph E. Zulkowski in 1987; a son, John J. Porky Zulkowski in 1988; a grandson, Joseph Zulkowski, Jr. in 2003; two brothers, Thomas Ferguson and William Navitsky and two sisters, Mary Kegolis and Julia Gomosky.

Surviving are four sons, Joseph J. Zulkowski and his wife Kathy and James T. Zulkowski all of Frackville, Michael J. Zulkowski of Shenandoah and Frank Zulkowski of Manville, NJ; two daughters, Mary wife of John Bernosky of Frackville and her daughter and caregiver Elizabeth Susie Zulkowski and her companion, Maurilio Ramirez both of Shenandoah; a brother, John Navitsky of Shenandoah; a brother, John Navitsky of Shenandoah; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 am from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Annunciation BVM Church, Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in the Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. There will be no calling hours Friday evening.
