Raymond C. "Ray" Miller, Sr., 68 of Lost Creek passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, April 20, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Ashland on February 6, 1955, he was a son of the late James R. and Elva Jane (Metz) Miller.
He was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School and Thaddeus Stevens Trade School, Lancaster.
Ray was a retired machinist.
Earlier in life, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. In more recent times, he cherished the time spent with his family especially playing various games with his grandchildren. He was an avid dog lover and enjoyed caring for his dogs and all those of his family.
Surviving are his wife, the former Rosaire N. Lally to whom he was married forty-six years; one son, Raymond C. Miller, Jr. of Lost Creek; one daughter, Rayaire Miller at home; three grandchildren, Emma, Aaliyah and Nicholas; his mother-in-law, Ann Marie "Sissy" Lally of Lost Creek; two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Lally and Susan Lally; nieces, cousins and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday morning, April 28, 2023 at 10:30 am in the Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian officiating.
