Mary M. Masters, 99, a resident of the Shenandoah Senior Living Community, passed away on July 31, 2024. Mary was born in Girardville on July 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Mary M. (Storper) Masters. She was a graduate of the former Girardville High School, and attended McCann's School of Business in Mahanoy City. She was retired, having been employed in the local garment industry, and was a member of the ILGWU. Mary was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and a former member of St. Georges Church in Shenandoah. She also belonged to the VFW Ladies Auxillary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Masters. Mary is survive by several cousins. Graveside services will be conducted by Msgr. Ronald Bocian, pastor, at 9:30 AM on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at the Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights.
