Obituary

Mary A. (Najunas) Logan, 94 of Shenandoah passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community. Born in Shenandoah on May 30, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Karpovich) Najunas. She was educated in the Shenandoah public schools. Mary retired from Ateeco Inc., Mrs. T's Pierogies, Shenandoah. She was a devout member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and the former St. George's Church. She was also a former member of the East End Field & Stream, Shenandoah. She enjoyed working in her garden, senior bus trips to musicals and casinos, her four-legged companion, "Snitch" and most of all spending time with family and friends. Surviving are her son, Albert C. "Butchey" Logan, Jr. of Shenandoah; two daughters, Roseanne wife of Harry Howard of Ringtown and Linda wife of Attorney Leo Breznik of Shenandoah; one sister, Helen Quillen of Florida; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Albert C. "Butch" Logan, Sr. in 2011 and her grandson, David Howard in 2016. Also surviving are David's wife and daughter, Rachael Howard and Mary's great-granddaughter, Jemma Howard. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Theresa, Adele, Ann and Beatrice and four brothers, George, Joseph, Bernie and Anthony. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 12:00 noon in St. Casimir's Church, 229 North Jardin Street, Shenandoah, the sacred worship site of Divine Mercy Parish. Monsignor Ronald Bocian, Pastor will be the celebrant. A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at St. Casimir's Church. Masks are preferred to be worn by those attending during the visitation and Mass. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband, Albert at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Hillside SPCA, Inc., PO Box 233, 51 SPCA Road, Pottsville, PA 17901. Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S.
