Mary Catherine Blozowskie, age 62 of 100 S. Main Street, Shenandoah passed Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

Born in Shenandoah on February 28, 1950 she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Margaret (Brennan) Blozowskie.

She was a 1968 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

Mary Catherine was of the Catholic Faith.

She worked as a switchboard operator for the Hazleton General Hospital and the former Locust Mountain State General Hospital, Shenandoah Heights. Earlier she worked at the Eagle Shirt Factory, Mahanoy City.

Surviving are a sister, Margaret Arbushites of Gilberton; a brother, Frank C. Blozowskie of Weston Place, Shenandoah; a nephew, Joseph Arbushites and his wife Tracy of Gilberton; a niece, Darlene Hannaway and her husband Jack of Pottsville; an aunt, Clare Brennan of Eagle Rock, Sheppton; great-nephews, a great-niece and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial and prayer services Saturday, May 5 at 11:30 am in Annunciation BVM Cemetery Chapel, Shenandoah Heights. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian will officiate.
