Margaret Mary "Meg" (Miller) Finlan of Ashland passed away peacefully Sunday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Byrnesville, Centralia on May 3, 1945 she was a daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (Brennan) Miller.

She was a 1963 graduate of the former Ashland High School. She then graduated from McCann School of Business, Mahanoy City.

Meg was a secretary and also worked as a clerk in retail sales.

She was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Ashland.

Meg thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors especially walking through the woods and mountains.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and John Feeney.

Surviving are two sons, Rev. Robert T. Finlan, Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Frackville and Marty Finlan and his wife Valerie of Lavelle; nieces and nephews including Jim, Cathy, John and Bobby Feeney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated Monday at 2:00 pm in St. Josephs Church, 1104 Walnut St., Ashland, PA 17921. Private interment will follow in New St. Josephs Cemetery, Ashland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing Monday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at St. Josephs Church, Ashland.
