Margaret Mary "Margie" Maloney, 59, of South Bower Street, Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Thursday evening at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Shenandoah, July 3, 1956, she was a daughter of Lucy M. Connor Maloney, with whom she resided, and the late Joseph Maloney, who died in 1982.

She was a 1974 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School.

Prior to her retirement, she was last employed as a production worker for Ateeco Inc., Mrs. T's Pierogies, Shenandoah.

Margie was a member of the former Annunciation BVM Church, Shenandoah.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two brothers, Joseph Maloney and his wife, Sheryl, Frackville, and John Maloney, Shenandoah; a sister, Mary Velousky, Shenandoah; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends.

A religious service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian will officiate. Interment will follow in Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Relatives and friends may call from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
