Margaret (Guresh) Beaver, 91, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.

Born in Delano, Feb. 21, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Burcin Guresh.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were a daughter, Diane Payne, in May 2007; a sister, Catherine Bisko; and a brother, Thomas Guresh. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Beaver Sr. and his wife, Gloria, Ringtown, and William Beaver; a son-in-law, Kenneth Payne Sr., Frackville; 12 grandchildren, Catherine Rakus, Margaret Gozditis, Robert Beaver Jr., Philip Beaver, Troy Payne, Kara Payne, Kenneth Payne Jr., Joseph Payne, Taylor Payne, William Beaver, Georgine Beaver and Lynn Beaver; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Prayer and scripture services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The Rev. Jay Serafin, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Ringtown, will officiate. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
