Madeline V. (Mirocke) Examitas, 73 of Shenandoah formerly of William Penn passed away on July 12, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East Norwegian, Pottsville. Born in Shenandoah on June 10, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Peter "KO Sullivan" Miracky and the late Yolanda (Cella) Miracky. She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the housekeeping department at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community. Madeline was a kind, considerate and hardworking woman but above all else, she treasured the time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her two daughters, Cheryl Draughn and her husband Wes of Ames, Iowa and Shannon Examitas of Shenandoah; four grandchildren, Ricky, Emma, Isabella and Perla; cousins and many friends. A religious service will he held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
