Lorraine J. (Narbut) Butts, age 66 of 226 N. Highland St., Shenandoah passed away Friday morning at her residence.

Born in Shenandoah on March 20, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie Narbut.

She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School where she received a certificate of perfect attendance.

Earlier, she was employed by the former Cigar Factory, Mahanoy City. However, most of her life was devoted to her family as the homemaker. Her family will surely miss her ethnic cooking and baking.

Lorraine was a member of St. Casimirs Church and TOPS both of Shenandoah. She enjoyed the company of many friends at Golden Years, Shenandoah.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Charles F. Butts in January 2005 and a sister, Helen Glenn.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Butts and his wife Christina of Frackville and Christopher Butts at home; two daughters, Alexandria R. Sandy Wood and her husband Gary of Turkey Run, Shenandoah and Jacqueline Butts of Shenandoah; three granddaughters, Jennifer Marie Butts, Cassandra Renee Wood and Randi Renee Wood; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Prayer and scripture services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimirs Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until time of services.
