Lewis H. Hoffman Jr., 86, of Shenandoah Heights, passed away peacefully Wednesday at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah Heights.

Born in William Penn, Shenandoah, Oct. 3, 1928, he was a son of the late Lewis H. Sr. and Alma McSurdy Hoffman.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, the former Lois Keyes; a daughter, Leslie Keyes Hoffman, Shenandoah Heights; a sister, Charlotte Capello and her husband, Edwin, Ringtown; a brother, George A. Hoffman, Shenandoah; a niece, Cheryl Jones and her husband, Michael, Shenandoah Heights; a nephew, George L. Hoffman and his wife, Patricia, Georgia; a great-niece and two great-nephews.

Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
