Kathleen A. "Kathy" (Fatula) Jones, 61, of Gordon, passed away on Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Shenandoah on February 5, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Irene (Lorady) Fatula.

She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem.

Earlier, Kathy was employed as a secretary for Empire Beauty School, Pottsville, and currently for Signature Family Services, Pottsville.

She was of the Catholic faith. Kathy enjoyed gardening and flowers, but above all she loved spending time with and entertaining her family and friends.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her brother, Don Fatula.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond J. "Ripper" Jones; two sisters, Irene Leister and her husband, Fred, of Sellersville, and Cherylann Reese and her husband, Jay, of Wind Gap; a sister-in-law, Michele Fatula, of Allentown; an uncle, Ed Fatula, of Turkey Run, Shenandoah; an aunt, Dolores Kowalick, Harleysville; a niece, Holly Seickel and her husband, Ryan, with their son, Kathy's great-nephew, R.J. Seickel, all of Glen Gardner, N.J.; her sister-in-law, Michele Fatula of Allentown; cousins and many dear friends.

Religious services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday morning at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian will officiate. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday evening and from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.
