June M. (Knyrim) Roberts, age 92 formerly of East Oak Street, Shenandoah passed away peacefully Tuesday evening at the Barn Hill Care Center, Newton, NJ.

Born in Eckley on July 20, 1922 she was a daughter of the late John G. and Myrtle (Job) Knyrim.

She was a 1940 graduate of the former Freeland High School.

June had a strong belief in God and a deep religious faith.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, David J. Roberts, Jr. on June 16, 2013; one brother, John G. Knyrim; three sisters, Eleanore Dargay, Alice Fox and Loretta Wood.

Surviving are two sons, Rev. David J. Roberts, III of Jersey City, NJ and Keith J. Roberts of Palm Springs, CA; one daughter, Cheryl J. Roberts of Sandyston, NJ; nieces and nephews.

Religious services will be held Monday, 11:00 AM at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Her son, Rev. David J. Roberts, III will officiate. Interment will follow at 12:30 PM at Indiantown Gap National Gap Cemetery, Annville.

Relatives and friends may call Monday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
