Obituary

Judith L. (Bickelman) Rudzinski, 58, of Shenandoah Heights, passed away peacefully on Wednesday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her family by her side.

Born in Shenandoah, June 6, 1958, she was a daughter of the late James F. and Edith M. (John) Bickelman.

She was a 1976 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School. She then received her training in practical nursing at the Schuylkill Technology Center, South Vo-Tech Campus, Mar Lin, and upon completion became a licensed practical nurse. Judy worked in various local nursing homes.

She was a member of the former First United Methodist Church, Shenandoah.

Judy enjoyed traveling and being with her family and she especially loved and treasured the time spent with her granddaughter, Lyla.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was a sister, Sherri, in infancy.

Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Gerald M. "Jerry" Rudzinski; two sons, Jason Rudzinski and his wife, Jennifer, Upper Darby, and Joshua Rudzinski, at home; a granddaughter, Lyla Rudzinski; a brother, James Bickelman and his companion, Sandy Hetherington, Ringtown; three sisters, Cynthia Rattie and her husband, John, State College, Kathy Henry and her husband, James, Bernville, and Karen Becker and her husband, Oliver, Douglasville; a sister-in-law, Judy Ross and her husband, Jim, Shenandoah Heights; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, cousins, many friends and her Chiweenie dog, "Pockets."

Religious services will be held at noon Monday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The Rev. Christopher Wollyung will officiate. Relatives and friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
