Joseph Lombardo, 73, a resident of Lost Creek, passed away peacefully at home on November 29th, 2025. Joe was born in Philadelphia on April 11, 1952, a son of the late Frank and Margaret (McConville) Lombardo. He was a 1970 graduate of the Shenandoah Valley High School, and then entered the United States Army, serving as a PV2 earning the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Marksman (M-16, Hand Grenade and .45 Calibre) and Sharpshooter Badges, along with his basic Airborne Training. He worked as a carpenter throughout his lifetime, and was a member of the former St. George's Church in Shenandoah. Joe enjoyed spending time around his home, fishing and shopping with his wife of 35 years, Melissa (Jarzinko) Lombardo. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Krystal Lombardo and by his twin brother, Thomas Lombardo. He is survived by his wife, Missy Lombardo; a daughter; and by two sisters, Mary Engle of Girardville and Dolores Stahl of Philadelphia, along with nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, December 8th, 2025 from 9:30-11:30 am at the Walukiewicz Oravitz-Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah. Joe will be laid to rest at 12:30 PM following Military Honors at the Indiantown National Cemetery in Annville. You may leave an online condolence at www.woffuneralhome.com
