John Z. (Strzelecki) Strelecky, age 81 of the Mahanoy Elderly High Rise, Mahanoy City formerly of Shenandoah passed away Friday at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

He was a decorated Army Veteran during the Korean War.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00 AM in St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah. Fr. Johnson, Parochial Vicar will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM.
