John 'Jack' Isgate, 70, a resident of Weston Place, Shenandoah, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville. He was the son of the late Francis J. Isgate Sr. and Eleanor (Wishnefsky) Isgate. John was a graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School, class of 1971, then went on to attend the White Sulfur Springs Photography School in West Virginia where he received a certificate of completion as a professional amateur photographer. He was retired, having been employed by various service companies including Amazon, Ateeco, Inc., and Michael's Distribution. John was an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his free time in the field hunting and fishing with friends and family. John was also a member of the former Primitive Methodist Church in Shenandoah. He is survived by his siblings, Mary Lynn Volk of Oregon City, Oregon, Glenn Isgate of Ashland, and Francis J Isgate II of Charleston, WV., along with nephews and nieces. Scripture Services will be held at at 11 AM on Friday, September 27th, 2024 at the Walukiewicz-Oravitz-Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah.  A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
