Joan A. Jennie Malinoski, age 88, a former resident of West Oak Street, Shenandoah and a guest at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community passed away Friday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on September 5, 1923 she was a daughter of the late John and Frances (Stabinski) Malinoski.
She was educated in the Shenandoah parochial schools.
Jennie worked for 18 years at the former Pennsylvania National Bank, currently the M&T Bank, where she was employed in housekeeping.
She was a member of St. Casimirs Church, Shenandoah and the Rosary and Sacred Heart Societies of the parish.
Preceding her death in addition to her parents were two brothers, John Jack Malinoski and Anthony Malinoski; and a sister, Victoria F. Malinoski.
Surviving are two sisters, Bernadine M. Malinoski of Fairfield and Grace Mazurkiewicz of Kingsport, TN; a brother, Francis T. Malinoski of San Diego, CA; a sister-in-law, Roseanne Malinoski of Shenandoah; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:00 am in St. Casimirs Church, 229 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimirs Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Casimirs Church, Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.
