Jean (Monlish) Paskiewicz, 91, a resident of Manville, NJ, formerly of Shenandoah, passed away Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerville, NJ.
Jean was born in Shenandoah on June 30, 1933 ,she was the daughter of the alter John and Anna Volosky Monlish.
A lifelong devout catholic, she was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Manville, NJ.
Jean was very family oriented, loved spending time with her family, and was proud to watch her children grow into adults.
She was an excellent baker and her apple upside down cake was a favorite of family and friends. Jean enjoyed taking day trips shopping and attending religious festivals and events.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a son, Alan Paskiewicz and a sister Ann Haas.
Surviving two sons - James of Easton and Michael of Manville NJ and her daughter Joan Bryan of Piscataway NJ. One brother Daniel Monlish and wife Diane of Shenandoah and a sister Dorothy Goetz of Providence Place in Pottsville also survive along with 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 10 AM at the Divine Mercy Church, 232 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah.
Visitation with Jeans family will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at the Church. Burial will immediately follow the Mass at St. Stephen's Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights.
