Obituary

Henry J. "Hank" Klokey, 70 formerly of Lower William Penn, Shenandoah passed away on Sunday evening, February 28, 2021 at Ridgeview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah Heights where he resided for the previous ten years. Born in Shenandoah on April 24, 1950, he was a son of the late Stanley N. and Estelle "Stella" (Pahlicke) Klokey. He was a 1968 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah and Stevens Trade School where he received his electrical training. Henry was a decorated Vietnam Navy veteran where he proudly served his country. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was a self-employed electrical contractor having owned and operated Hank's Electric. Hank was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and the former Saint Mary Magdalene Church, Lost Creek. He was also a member of the William Penn Fire Company. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his sister, Anna Marie Klokey; and two brothers, Stanley J. Klokey and Carl Klokey. Surviving are his sister-in-law, Grace Klokey of Lansdale; his friend and caregiver, Sandy Manbeck of Ringtown; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10:00 am in Divine Mercy Church, 232 W. Cherry St., Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow in Saint Stephen's Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
