Obituary

George Robert "Bob" Dintaman, 86, of Frackville, passed away peacefully Monday morning at Broad Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Reading, Dec. 9, 1929, he was a son of the late George E. and Myrtle Kramer Dintaman.

He was a graduate of the former Frackville High School.

Bob retired from Conrail, Harrisburg, in 1990.

He was anArmy veteran, having served his country as a medic in theKorean War.

He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville, the Frackville Lodge No. 737 Free and Accepted Masons and also was a 32nd degree member of the Reading Consistory. He was also a member of American Legion Post 398, Frackville.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Catherine Hogan, in 1999.

Surviving are his caregiver, Denise Goncalves, Frackville; cousins and many friends.

A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville. The Rev. Peggy Sue Pfeffer will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Centralia.

Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 48 S. Nice St., Frackville, PA 17931.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
