Gary M. Karpovich, 52, of Shenandoah, passed away Thursday evening at his residence.
Born in Shenandoah, March 26, 1964, he is the son of Carl Karpovich, Shenandoah Heights, and Mary Ann (Kronkowsky) Aggon, Shenandoah.
He was a 1982 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School.
Gary attended the former St. Casimir and St. Stanislaus Churches, both in Shenandoah.
He worked in the construction industry.
Gary loved the outdoors especially hunting and camping locally as well as in Florida where he previously resided.
He was an avid NASCAR fan with Tony Stewart being his favorite driver.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Ashley, Indiana; a brother, Carlos Karpovich and his wife, Karen, Schuylkill Haven; three sisters, Gloria Karpovich, Shenandoah, Cindy Gaval and her husband, Mick, Mahanoy City, and Amanda Aggon, Weston Place, Shenandoah Heights; a grandson, Gunner; chuchies, uncles, nieces, nephews and their families.
A religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Relatives and friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
