Frank J. Stanolis, age 75 of 29 E. Oak St., Shenandoah passed away Thursday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on July 27, 1937 he was the son of the late Frank and Joann Jennie (Medofsky) Stanolis.
He was a 1956 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah. He attended school in New York for interior design.
Prior to his retirement, Frank worked in the purchasing department at the former J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills, Hometown.
He was a member of St. Casimirs Church, Shenandoah.
Frank enjoyed gardening and cooking and was proud of his authentic Polish dishes. He also enjoyed the company of others while having daily lunch at the Shenandoah Senior Center.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were an aunt, Bertha T. Mimi Coyle, uncles and additional aunts.
Surviving are cousins and their families.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in St. Casimirs Church. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimirs Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.
