On February 27, 2012, Estelle Ann (Ugolick) Gladsky, age 90 returned to the arms of the Lord at dawn. She left in a clear sky from her daughter Andreas home in Frackville where she spent the last year in the loving care of Andrea, her family and Covenant Hospice. She was a former resident of West Lloyd St., Shenandoah.
Born in Shenandoah on October 26, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Teofilia (Kalinowski) Ugolick.
She was a member of St. Casimirs Church, Shenandoah.
She had a blessed life and will be remembered for her great love for her family and pets, her generosity of spirit and her many celebrations of life. She loved to garden, cook, sew, bake and always worked to support our veterans.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her loving husband, Edward in 1972 and stepfather, Felix Grabitsky; siblings, Anthony, Charles, Frances, Victoria and three others lost in childhood.
She is survived by daughters and their husbands, Andrea and Frankie Coyle of Frackville and Marcia and Augusto Esquibel of Danville; three grandsons and five great-grandchildren, grandson, Patrick Coyle and his wife Heather with their children, Estelles great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kailee and Rylan, grandson, Frank Coyle and his wife Joelle with their children, Estelles great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Holden Coyle and grandson, Michael Coyle; and two sisters, Bertha Cieslukowski of Shenandoah and Teresa Shinker of Iowa; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 am from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in St. Casimirs Church, Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimirs Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday morning from 8:30 am until 10:00 am. There will be no calling hours on Wednesday evening.
The family prefers donations to the Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.
