Dorothy E. (Spudis) Yevich, 91, a former Shenandoah resident, passed away peacefully Wednesday at Rest Haven nursing home, Schuylkill Haven, where she resided for the past 2 1/2 years.
Born in Shenandoah, Dorothy was a daughter of the late Clem and Eva Radzavage Spudis.
Dorothy and her husband, Edward, resided in Alexandria, Va., for the majority of their lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edward S. Yevich, Scranton, in 2005; and two sisters, Florence Lifshutz and Adele Chatcavage.
Surviving are nieces and nephews and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial and interment in Arlington National Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
