Dorothy A. (Danowsky) Guida, age 77 of 210 N. Main St., Shenandoah passed away Tuesday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St., Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on December 10, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Ann Kuczmarski Danowsky.
Dorothy last worked as a nurses aide at Trinity Mission Health & Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah Heights.
She was a member of the Restoration Fellowship Church of Shenandoah and the Living Waters Church of God, Frackville.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Joseph Guida; a son, Joseph J. Ablo Arbushites; two sisters, Eleanore Markish and Florence Dowaroski and two brothers, Edward and Anthony Danowsky.
Surviving are a son Daniel Guida and his wife Michelle of Shenandoah; a daughter-in-law, Margaret M. Arbushites of Gilberton; two grandchildren, Darlene Hannaway and Joseph Arbushites; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Marie Bockman of Rockville, MD and Barbara Moses of Texas; a caregiver, Maureen Ann Thompson of Mahanoy City; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday at 12:30 pm at Restoration Fellowship Church, 201 W. Oak St., Shenandoah.The Rev. Angie Carls will officiate; assisting will bethe Rev.Edward Kopach andthe Rev.Jose Ortiz.
Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S Jardin St., Shenandoah is in charge of arrangements.
