Dorothy F. Bland (nee Fenedick) born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, July 31, 1921, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a former Yatesville residen.

She was devoted to her Lord and Savior and will be surely welcomed into His loving arms. She will be deeply missed by her family and the many friends she made throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Bland Powers; and her son-in-law, James Powers of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her granddaughters: Christina Smith of Dallas, Texas, and Darien Nastri of Denver, Colorado; as well as great-grandchildren: Tristan Smith, Ainslee Smith, and Leland Smith of Dallas, Texas, and Maximo Nastri and Davis Nastri of Denver, Colorado. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Bland; her sister, Marcella F. Mesarick; and her brother, Cyril J. Fenedick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services Wednesday at 1:00 PM in St. Stephen Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian will officiate.
