Donna M. (Brazinsky) Risko, 80 of Shenandoah passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at her residence. Born in Shenandoah on July 4, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Margaret (Subach) Brazinsky. She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah. Prior to her retirement, Donna was employed for many years at Ateeco Inc., Mrs. T's Pierogies, Shenandoah. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and the former St. George's Church. Donna was a kind and caring person. She cherished the time spent with her family. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Edward J. Risko on March 4, 2022; her grandson, Jason Garvey; and her sister, JoAnn Palmer. Surviving are her daughter Sharon Wright and her husband Timothy of Shenandoah; three grandchildren, Timothy Wright of Shenandoah, Erik Beninsky of Harrisburg and Michael Garvey of Shenandoah; one great-grandson, Bodhi Garvey; two sisters-in-law, Anne Marie McNulty of Lansdale and Virginia "Ginny" Stanziola and her husband Robert of Frackville; step-son, Edward Straub of Mount Carmel; step-daughter, Christine Meyer of Pittsburgh; three step-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her beloved cat, "Mitzi". A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10:00 am in Divine Mercy Church, 232 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Divine Mercy Church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Donna's name to the Hillside SPCA, Inc., PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901 or Divine Mercy Parish, 108 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah, PA 17976.
