Dolores (Chernetsky) Yablonsky, age 77 of 185 Pennsylvania Ave., Shenandoah Heights passed away peacefully Friday.

Born in Shenandoah on April 26, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Regina Jean (Seroka) Chernetsky.

Dolores was a graduate of the former Shenandoah Catholic High School and Empire Beauty School, Pottsville.

As a self-employed licensed beautician, she owned and operated her own beauty shop first in William Penn and later in Shenandoah Heights.

Dolores was a member of St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah and the local hairdressers association.

She enjoyed outdoor sports. But most of all she excelled in and will be remembered for her bowling talents. She was a member of several bowling leagues and received many awards.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were a son, Paul T. Yablonsky and a grandson, Matthew Yablonsky.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Paul S. Yablonsky; three grandsons, Brandon, Michael and Tyler Yablonsky; a daughter-in-law, Nancy L. Yablonsky of Shenandoah Heights; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 AM in St. Casimir Church, 229 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Relatives and friends may call at St. Casimir Church Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. There will be no calling hours or services from the funeral home.
