Obituary

Dolores (Alinsky) Williams, 87, formerly of Shenandoah and Johnstown, and most recently of Audubon, passed away peacefully Monday evening.

Born in Shenandoah, March 1, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Urban Alinsky.

She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

While she resided in Shenandoah, she had worked for the former Hook's Card and Gift Shop, Shenandoah.

She was married to her beloved late husband, William L. Williams, whom she lovingly referred to as "My Bill."

Dolores was a loving wife and aunt, great-aunt and grand-aunt who had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her family very much.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, was a sister, Agnes "Dolly" Alinsky Cosgrove; a brother, Joseph Alinsky; a niece, Dolly Cosgrove Cinquino; three nephews, Joseph and Paul Alinsky and Robert Cosgrove.

Surviving are a great-niece and caregiver, Dana DiRienzo and her husband, Joe, Chatham, N.J.; a nephew, James Alinsky, Michigan City, Ind.; a niece, Nancy Dayle Bright, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; a grand-nephew, Joseph Robert William DiRienzo.

A religious service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The Rev. Jose Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday.
