Dianne T. Ogrodnick, RN, 76, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Shenandoah, Oct. 15, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Stanley Ogrodnick and Constance (Alex) Ogrodnick Rusin.

She was a 1960 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah, and graduated from the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing.

Dianne was employed as a registered nurse at the Pottsville Hospital, the State Correctional Institution/Frackville and retired from the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Home.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, and prior to its closing, St. George Church, Shenandoah.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her brother, Robert S. Ogrodnick, on July 6, 2014, and two brothers in infancy.

Surviving are her cousin, godchild and caregiver, Daniel Bubnis, South Abington Township; cousin, Patricia Bubnis, Shenandoah; additional cousins and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Casimir Church, 229 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah, the sacred worship site of Divine Mercy Parish. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah.
