Daniel J. Vale, Jr., 72 of William Penn, Shenandoah passed away early Tuesday morning, July 5, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 17th Street, Allentown. Born in Shenandoah on July 17, 1949 he was a son of Dorothy (Cudo) Wisniewski who survives and resides in Shenandoah and the late Daniel J. Vale, Sr. He was a 1967 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah. Daniel was employed in the construction industry as a concrete technician prior to his retirement. Mr. Vale was a Navy veteran having received the National Defense Service Medal. Dan was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and attended many concerts. Dan enjoyed football with his favorite team being the Oakland Raiders. His trips to North Carolina brought great joy to him. He treasured the time spent with family and friends at holidays and special occasions. Surviving in addition to his mother are his step-father, Ray Wisniewski of Shenandoah; three daughters, Lee Ann Jones of Girardville, Lori A. Vale and her fiancé Paul Shuey, Jr. of Hegins and Danielle Vale Mozdy and her husband Joseph of Manteo, North Carolina; four granddaughters, one grandson, one great-granddaughter; one sister, Diane Monlish and her husband Dan of Shenandoah; one brother, David Vale and his wife Mary of New Mexico; aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and many friends. A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah. Scripture services will be held on Sunday at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian officiating. Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah is in care of the arrangements.
