Christina M. "Tina" (Bachike) Sass, 53, of Frackville, passed away Saturday at her residence.

Born in Shenandoah, Aug. 10, 1964, she was a daughter of Thomas and Mary Lou Lazor Bachike, Frackville.

Tina was a 1982 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School.

She was last employed as a phlebotomist and manager at Met Path, Allentown.

Tina was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, formerly St. Stephen's Church. She was an avid Notre Dame and New York Yankees fan.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Stephen and Amelia Lazor, and paternal grandmother, NadineSmith.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, Thomas and Mary Lou Bachike, Frackville, are a son, Joseph Sass and his wife, Cristina Clarkin, Mahwah, N.J.; her paternal grandfather, Ronald Smith, Frackville; many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Divine Mercy Church, 232 W. Cherry St., Shenandoah. Father James Koury will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A viewing will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Divine Mercy Church, Shenandoah.
