Charles B. Herby Matlowski, age 91 of 169 Strawberry Lane, Ringtown passed away Sunday at his residence.

Born in Shenandoah on March 2, 1920 he was the son of the late Michael and Agatha (Dziekunaski) Matlowski.

He was a decorated World War II Army Veteran.

Herby was a retired television repairman.

He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the American Legion Post #289 of Ringtown.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, the former Stella L. Leskun; a brother, Stanley Matlowski of Cape May, NJ; a sister, Hedy Hunter of Monticello, FL; nieces and nephews.

Religious and military services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at the convenience of the family. Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian will officate.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.
