Cecilia B. Kidgen, 86, formerly of East Lloyd Street, Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Saturday morning at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Allentown, Nov. 15, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Anthony W. and Marie Witkowski Kidgen.

She was a retired garment worker, having worked at the former Martin Shirt Factory.

Cecilia was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah. She was a member of the former St. Casimir Parish, Shenandoah, and was also a member of the Amalgamated Garment Workers Union.

Surviving are cousins and caregivers, Michael Witkowski and his wife, Judy, Pottsville; and additional cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Divine Mercy Parish Sacred Worship site, St. Casimir Church, 229 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah.Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate.Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. There will be no viewing or services from the funeral home.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of arrangements.
