Casimir F. "Caz" Puza, 79 of Turkey Run, Shenandoah passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian, Pottsville. Born in Shenandoah on March 4, 1942, son of the late Frank & Lillian (Mescavage) Puza. He was last employed as a carpenter in the local manufacturing industry. Caz was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and the former St. George's Church. Earlier in life, he volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed horseback riding with his niece, Cheryl Ann. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two aunts, Anna Mescavage and Mary Godynick. Surviving are his brother, Joseph Puza of Turkey Run, Shenandoah with whom he resided; one sister, Maryann Toborowsky and her husband Robert of Shenandoah Heights; one niece, Cheryl Ann Readler and her husband Jamine of Mountain Top; one great-niece, Alexandria Readler; cousins and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 10:00 am in Divine Mercy Church, 232 W. Cherry Street, Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until 10:00 am in Divine Mercy Church. Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.
