Ann L. Jones, age 64 of Girardville passed away peacefully Saturday at her residence.

Born in Lost Creek on June 6, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Ernestine (Dolan) Jones.

She was a graduate of Shenandoah Catholic High School, Class of 1964.

Prior to her retirement, Ann worked for thirty years as a Telephone Operator at Bell Telephone, Trenton, NJ.

She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church, Lost Creek.

Ann will be remembered for her love of animals, gardening and her trips to the casinos.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were three brothers, William, Robert Patches and James Jones; one sister, Mary Maisy Jones.

Surviving are one brother, Raymond Ripper Jones and his wife Kathleen of Gordon; one sister, Ernestine Jo and her husband Richard Examitas of Lost Creek; a great-nephew and godson, Ryan Examitas; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and additional great-nephews also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am in Annunciation BVM Church. Rev. Charles J. Dene will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery, Fountain Springs, Butler Twp.

Friends may call at Annunciation BVM Church from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. There will be no calling hours or services from the funeral home.
