Ann Marie Gantz, 69, of West Penn Street, Shenandoah, passed away Friday morning at her residence.

Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital, Shenandoah, Sept. 29, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Steele.

She attended the former West Mahanoy Township High School and graduated from the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

Ann Marie was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Shenandoah.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Steele. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are her husband, John P. Gantz, Shenandoah; two sons, John J. Gantz and his wife, Kathy, Ringtown, and Paul D. Gantz and his wife, Lynn, Pine Grove; two daughters, Brenda Polgrean, Lancaster, and Gloria Keck and her husband, Karl, Orwigsburg; seven grandchildren, Cameron Gantz, Tyler Gantz, Andrew Gantz, Joshua Gantz, Autumn Gantz, Dylan Keck and Makayla Keck; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
