Regina Mary (Domozik) Discavage, 71, of Shenandoah Heights, passed away Thursday at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Coal Township.
Born in Shenandoah, July 7, 1947, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances (Kwiatkowski) Domozik.
Regina was a 1965 graduate of the former Shenandoah Catholic High School.
She was a retired garment worker, having last been employed at the former Martin Shirt Co., Shenandoah.
On November 18, 1972, in the former St. George Church, Shenandoah, she married Thomas J. Discavage, who survives.
Regina was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, formerly St. George Church, Shenandoah, and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America Union. She enjoyed oldies music, especially the 1950s and ’60s, and was a diehard Philadelphia Phillies fan.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 45 years, Thomas J. Discavage, are her sister, Christina Silveria, Oaklyn, N.J.; her niece, Selina, Florida; dear cousins, Henry Kwiatkowski, Louisiana, and Justine Monahan, Shenandoah; additional nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Divine Mercy Church, Shenandoah, with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, as the celebrant. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 116 S. Oak Grove Road, West Hanover Township. A viewing will be held from 8:15 until 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah.
